Class 2 Driver - Exeter EX2

We are recruiting for a Van Driver for our well-established client based in, Exeter EX2.

Job Role: Class 2 Driver

Contract: Temp on going - Full-time hours

Location: Exeter, EX2

Pay Rate: £16.40ph Overtime (Saturday/Sunday): £20.50 ph.

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Monday-Friday with overtime on Saturday/Sunday's available. 06.00 start.

The ideal candidate in order to comply with the transport policy, the successful candidate will be aged 21 or above and have held a full driving licence for at least a year or more

Duties:

* 9/ 10 hours daily 15/25 services per day, servicing customers in Devon/Cornwall/Somerset from Exeter (tipping 1000ltr bins into an SCV).

* Its multi-drop work with an average of 15/25 drops a day. The driver will have a set route each day and will cover all over Devon/Cornwall/part of Dorset and somerset.

* It is quite physical work, so the person needs to be fairly fit and able bodied.

Ideal Candidate:

* A full clean Class 2 licence and been driving for a minimum of 1 year or more.

* An understanding of the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace

* Effect Time management skills & excellent customer service

* Physical fit to able to meet the physical demand of the nature of the role

* Ability to carry out all services in a professional and timely manner

* Proof of Address dated in last 3 month - Utility Bill

* Proof of National Insurance - NI Card, payslip or P60/P45

* 2 Years referencing details (Blue Arrow will apply for these)

* A DBS basic check will be required to work with this client.
