Class 2 Driver- Kerbside

Job Role: Kerbside Driver (Class 2 Licence)

Location: Newtownabbey

Pay Rate: £16.20 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Type: Full time, temp to perm for the right candidates

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Kerbside Driver with a Class 2 (Category C) licence to join our waste and recycling team in Newtownabbey. You'll be responsible for the collection of recyclable materials from residential areas, working as part of a dedicated crew.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive a Class 2 vehicle along designated kerbside collection routes.

Assist with loading recyclable materials into the vehicle.

Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues.

Ensure all collections are completed safely and on schedule.

Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

Follow all health & safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.

Physically fit - this is a hands-on role.

Previous experience in waste collection is however we are accepting new passes as well.

Team player with a strong work ethic.
