We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our waste collection team.
Position: Class 2 Driver
Hours: Monday to Friday
Location: Swansea
Pay: £15.07 0/t £22.60
About the Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for collecting domestic waste on designated routes while working closely with a team of loaders. This is a physically active role that requires excellent teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
· Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
· Collecting domestic waste from residential properties.
· Working as part of a team to complete daily collection routes.
· Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
· Following all road safety and health & safety procedures.
· Providing a professional service to the public.
Requirements
· Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
· Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
· Previous waste collection experience is an advantage but not essential.
