Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver

Location: Reading

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: 06:30 - 15:30 (1-hour unpaid break), Monday to Friday

Overtime: Paid in addition to the standard 40-hour working week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver to join a busy and well-established distribution company based in Reading.

This role is ideal for a reliable, professional driver who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to customers across the region
• Working to scheduled delivery times and routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and the general public
• Assisting with additional operational duties as required

Essential Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
• Minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
• Valid and up-to-date Driver CPC qualification
• Active Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Ability to work to strict delivery schedules
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Positive attitude and team player mentality
