Cleaner

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Part-Time Cleaners to work at a college based in Moulton.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

* General Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, lecture halls, offices, corridors, and communal areas.

* Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize student and staff restrooms, ensuring supplies are stocked.

* Waste Disposal: Empty bins, manage recycling, and maintain tidy waste collection points.

* Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in academic and administrative buildings.

* Surface Cleaning: Dust and wipe down desks, chairs, windowsills, and other surfaces.

* Event Support: Assist with cleaning before and after college events or functions.

* Health & Safety Compliance: Follow cleaning protocols and safety guidelines, including proper use of chemicals and PPE.

* Reporting: Notify supervisors of any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages.

✅ Requirements

* Experience: Previous cleaning experience in educational or institutional settings preferred.

* Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 15 kg, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods.

* Reliability: Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

* Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness and hygiene.

🏫 Working Environment

* Active college campus with students, faculty, and staff present.

* Uniform and cleaning supplies provided.

The working hours will be Monday - Friday 5am-9am

The pay rate is £12.21 per hour

Candidates MUST have an enhanced DBS certificate from within the last year or be willing to pay for one.
