Cleaner

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners to work at a large distribution site based in Lea Green, St. Helens.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

* Facility Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of warehouse floors, loading docks, storage areas, and staff facilities.

* Sanitization: Disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, equipment controls, and communal areas.

* Waste Management: Empty bins, manage recycling, and ensure waste disposal areas are clean and organized.

* Floor Care: Operate industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, sweepers) to clean large surface areas.

* Restroom Maintenance: Clean and restock restrooms and locker rooms used by warehouse staff.

* Spill Response: Promptly clean up spills and report any hazardous conditions to supervisors.

* Stocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and PPE inventory.

* Compliance: Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols in line with company and regulatory standards.

✅ Requirements

* Experience: Previous cleaning experience in industrial or warehouse settings preferred.

* Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 25 kg, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

* Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness and safety.

* Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

* Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.

🏭 Working Conditions

* Fast-paced distribution environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

* May involve working around forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.

* PPE and cleaning equipment provided.

The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 7am-3pm.

The pay rate will be £12.60 per hour.
