Cleaner

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Cleaners to work at a motorway service station based in Lymm, Cheshire.

🧹 Core Cleaning Responsibilities

* Cleaning communal areas such as seating zones, corridors, and entrances

* Maintaining male and female toilets and washrooms to a high hygiene standard, including replenishing soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls

* Emptying bins regularly and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly

* Daily cleaning tasks across all facilities, including floors, windows, and touchpoints

🛠️ Operational & Support Duties

* Replenishing stock in cleaning stations and sometimes assisting with display or fridge restocking in food outlets

* Participating in shift handovers to ensure continuity of service and smooth operations

* Reporting maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, faulty equipment) to supervisors for quick resolution

👥 Customer-Facing Aspects

* Ensuring a welcoming environment by keeping areas tidy and presentable for travelers

* Responding to customer needs when asked about facilities or cleanliness concerns

* Supporting overall customer experience by contributing to a safe, clean, and comfortable stopover

⏰ Work Patterns

* Flexible working available - you can work as many or as few shifts as you want as they are open 7 days a week

* 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm shifts available

* Attention to detail and consistency in cleaning standards

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Reliability and flexibility with shift patterns

* Good communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers

Candidates will need transport to get to the site, or live locally.

The pay rate for these roles is £14 per hour

Temporary to Permanent for the right candidates.
