Blue Arrow is recruiting on behalf of our client, Bidvest Noonan, for a Cleaning Operative / Retail Cleaner to join the cleaning team at ASDA with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a cleaning role, offering regular hours, job security, and full training for candidates who are new to the industry. There is also a temp-to-perm opportunity after 12 weeks for those seeking a permanent position.

1 x Shift Pattern (Fixed)

30 hours per week (must be able to commit to all below shift timings)

· Sunday 07:00 - 14:00

· Monday 07:00 - 14:00

· Tuesday 08:00 - 16:00

· Wednesday 07:00 - 12:00

· Fridy 07:00 - 12:00

Pay Rate

£13.10 per hour

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaning Operative, your duties will include:

• Cleaning retail, customer, and colleague areas to a high standard
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Cleaning washroom and welfare facilities
• Emptying and relining waste bins
• Carrying out floor care tasks, including buffing and polishing where required
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store
• Completing routine inspections and reporting any issues
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Good understanding of spoken and written English
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service
