  • Identify commercial planning requirements and opportunities
  • Implement exemplary service standards and monitor service delivery
  • Ensure all employees receive the required training and career development plans
  • Monitor financial and operational performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency

Does this sound like you?

You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience as a Contract Manager or Operations Manager
  • Experience managing a large blue-collar workforce, preferably in Environmental Services or Grounds Maintenance
  • Strategic leadership skills and the ability to make sound data-based business decisions
  • Experience managing relationships with trade union representatives and Local Authority clients
  • Experience in business development, transformation, and project management
  • Strong communication skills to inspire and engage others
  • A hands-on approach and visibility with the workforce

It's also desirable - but not essential - to hold a Management degree or level 5 qualification, or a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
