The job will suit someone who wishes to develop their career in the marine leisure industry and is happy working outside as part of a small friendly team. They will be expected to assist the Head Boatswain in managing a busy boatyard at our main site in Shoreham and our marina in Shoreham port. It is a hands on role and it is essential that the candidate is someone who has supervisory and customer care skills and has a knowledge of boats and yachts.
No two days are the same and you will be expected to organise boat movements and operate equipment in a safe and tidy manner.
An ability to communicate effectively and handle pressurised situations with a smile is essential as is an ability to turn your hand to a variety of challenges.
