Are you a skilled Electrician or Electrical Engineer looking to elevate your career? This is your opportunity to join a high-performing, client-facing team where your expertise will keep vital systems running efficiently and securely. You'll play a key role in supporting critical operations within commercial, technical, and accommodation facilities across two important RAF sites.
About the role;
As our Electrician, your primary responsibilities will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to reactive callouts, completing compliance testing to JSP375 standards, and delivering minor installation works on commercial buildings. You'll work hands-on using a digital tablet to log detailed reports and ensure accurate documentation. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota and occasional use of company vehicles to support mobility between sites.
What you'll need;
This position requires you to have City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent qualification. You should also hold the 2391 Testing & Inspection certification and have proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair in a commercial environment. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will regularly interact with clients and internal teams. It is essential you have knowledge of health and safety and a qualification to show this.
While previous Authorised Person (AP) or Authorising Engineer (AE) experience is advantageous, it's not essential. Knowledge of fixed wire inspections, PASMA, and IPAF certifications would be beneficial.
We're looking for someone proactive, safety-conscious, and passionate about delivering top-tier service. You'll be a visible part of a team that supports the UK's defence infrastructure, so professionalism and reliability are key.
This is more than just a job—it's a growth opportunity. Our joint venture is currently worth £100 million, with ambitious plans to expand to £400 million in the next five years. As we grow, your role will grow too, offering increasing scale, complexity, and responsibility.
