Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join the team on a Full Time basis.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To work as part of the engineering team providing a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service within the hospital, which ensures a safe environment for all Patients, Visitors, Staff and Contractors.
• The role will require repair, maintenance or installation of all plant, equipment, systems and building structure/fabric.
• This will consist of Planned Preventative Maintenance, testing and calibration, fault finding, defect correction and supporting the emergency on call on a rota basis.

Role:

To undertake maintenance/testing/troubleshooting of plant/equipment, ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations / PPM Schedules and manufactures instruction, including but not limited to.

• Building and Minor Electrical Responsibilities
• Water Responsibilities
• Ventilation System Responsibilities
• Decontamination Responsibilities
• Medical Gas Responsibilities
• General Duties

Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00
• 1 Sunday in every 4
• On Call Rota

Who we're looking for:

• Served a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with C&G Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical field

• Hold relevant certificates or be willing to undertake specialist training in specific areas

• Significant experience in building services management with a track record of success

• Extensive knowledge of building services

• Able to prioritise demands against resources

• Able to support hospital compliance with changing legislation
