Executive Support Assistant (Level 3)

Location: Bristol

Contract: Full Time Contract - 6 Months

Salary: £17.16 - £18.72 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Executive Support Assistant to provide confidential, high-quality administrative and executive support to senior leaders within the academy.

This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager and Senior Leadership Team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of academy operations. The successful candidate will be proactive, professional, and able to manage competing priorities while building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Manage complex diaries, appointments, meetings, and correspondence.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, briefing papers, and meeting minutes.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Act as a key point of contact for staff, parents, governors, and external partners.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate records and data, producing reports as required.
  • Support recruitment, HR, and wider administrative processes across the academy.
  • Assist with academy communications, website updates, and promotional activities when required.
  • Supervise, support, and develop administrative colleagues where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and administrative services.
  • Support senior leaders with project work, research, and organisational priorities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a senior administration, executive support, PA, or office management role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience producing high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A professional, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
