📍 Location: Derby (additional opportunities in Belper, DE56)

💼 Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary (potential for permanent placement)

💰 Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: £15.12 per hour
• Afternoon Shift: £17.00 per hour

🔹 About the Role

Blue Arrow is recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers to join a world-renowned manufacturing client operating in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Derby. Additional roles are available in Belper (DE56) for candidates willing to travel or based locally.

Please note: This role will primarily involve working afternoon shifts, so flexibility is essential.

Candidates who successfully pass the on-site practical assessment will be eligible for an immediate start.

✅ Requirements

To be considered, candidates must:

• Have at least 12 months of recent experience operating a Reach Truck.
• Hold accredited and in-date D2 Reach Truck (over 8 meters) and Counterbalance certifications. (In-house licenses are not accepted.)
• Be flexible with shift patterns (morning and afternoon shifts as required).
• Be physically capable of performing line-feeding duties, including:
  • Picking and moving boxes/pallets
  • Operating various types of MHE
  • Prioritising and planning for changeovers

🕒 Working Hours

• Morning Shift: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:30, Friday 06:00-12:00
• Afternoon Shift: Monday-Thursday 14:30-23:00, Friday 12:00-18:00
• Afternoon shift availability is essential.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Supplying parts to busy production lines
• Supporting smooth changeovers
• Handling goods in/out, loading and unloading
• Performing general FLT duties as required
• Maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency
