🛠️ Fabrication & Assembly Operative

Location: Brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Derby

Full-time and ongoing (38+ hours/week)

🌟 About the Role

Join a leading manufacturer in the heating and hot water industry, producing high-performance appliances. As a Fabrication & Assembly Operative, you'll be involved in:

• Fabrication - Shaping and welding metal components
• Assembly - Installing internal parts and fittings to specification
• Inspection - Performing checks to ensure product quality and safety

This hands-on role suits those with experience in metalwork, mechanical assembly, or production operations.

Full training provided, but prior experience is essential.

✅ What We're Looking For

• Experience in fabrication or assembly
• Willingness to work additional hours during the week and weekends when required by the company
• Familiarity with inspection tools and procedures
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Detail-focused and quality-driven
• Flexible and eager to learn

💰 Pay Rates

• Morning Shift: £13.45/hr (up to £16.99/hr with service)
• Afternoon Shift: £15.33/hr (up to £18.87/hr with service)

🕒 Shift Patterns

• Day Shift: Mon-Thu 06:00-14:30, Fri 06:00-12:00
• Afternoon Shift: Mon-Thu 14:30-23:00, Fri 12:00-18:00
• Flexibility required for rotating shifts and overtime during week and weekend to support business demands
