Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Salary - £25,000

About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Financial Services Administrator to join their busy Glasgow City Centre office. This role offers excellent future opportunities, including the potential to be trained and developed into a Mortgage Advisor.
You will provide essential administrative support to their Financial Advisor and play a key role in ensuring that mortgage and pension applications are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Please not that you do not have to have come from a Financial Services background as our client is very open to sector experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full administrative support to the Financial Advisor across mortgages, pensions, and protection cases.
- Check and verify mortgage and pension documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collect all necessary compliance documentation from clients, such as payslips and proof of address.
- Prepare and write mortgage suitability reports.
- Liaise with clients, mortgage lenders, and third parties to ensure smooth and timely processing of applications.
- Manage data input for mortgages and pensions-high accuracy is essential.
- Handle all aspects of compliance and record keeping.
- Work confidently and discreetly when dealing with sensitive financial information.
- Proactively problem-solve and manage workloads to meet tight deadlines.
- Operate effectively both independently and as part of a busy team.
- Contribute to a process-driven environment and ensure smooth office operations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with clients and lenders.
- Enjoy working with numbers.
- IT literate with confidence using systems and digital tools.
- Proactive, organised, and process-focused.
- Ability to work with confidentiality and discretion.
- A willingness to learn, grow, and develop within the business.
- Experience in financial services is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
