Counterbalance Driver - Upskilling to On-Site Shunter

Location: Gotham, Nottinghamshire

Shift: Monday to Friday, 2pm-10pm

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Type: Temp to Perm (after 13 weeks)

Job Description:

You'll begin in a Counterbalance role and be trained to operate as an on-site Shunter, supporting yard operations and vehicle movements. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow within a logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Counterbalance forklift trucks
• Assist with yard duties and trailer movements
• Complete shunter training and transition into the role
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport teams
• Follow site safety procedures and traffic management plans
• Report any issues or delays to supervisors promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the yard area

• Valid Counterbalance licence (in-house accepted)
