Forklift Driver

We are currently recruiting for a team of Reach Truck Forklift drivers for our client in Middlesbrough, the ideal candidate would also have a Counterbalance license, but this is not essential.

You'll be an integral part of the warehouse and logistics team, driving forklift trucks, handling materials and finished products in a busy manufacturing environment. Heavy lifting is involved, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on role.

All forklift truck licenses must have been completed within the last 3 years, and be externally accredited.

Duties:

· Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely to load, unload, and move goods throughout the warehouse

· Carry out manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and moving stock when required

· Store products in designated locations and assist with stock control activities

· Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults or safety concerns

· Pick and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while following health and safety procedures

· General housekeeping duties on site

Rates:

· £13.75ph - Days

· £15.05ph - Backs

· £20.62ph - Saturday's / £27.50ph - Sunday's - sufficient overtime between now and Christmas

Shifts:

· Monday - Friday

· 6am-2:30pm / 2pm-10:30pm - shifts do not rotate
