Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to join our clients growing re-manufacturing team based in the Llanelli area.
Salary: £14.50ph
Hours of work: Day shifts 40 hours pw
Contract: Permanent
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for making sure all material movements are carried out in a timely manner, ensuring that production is efficient and to a high standard
- Move, load, unload, and stack goods within warehouses
- Checking deliveries
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Good knowledge of UK health and safety regulations
- Work efficiently as part of a team
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Skills required:
- Proven experience within a factory/ workshop environment
- Sound knowledge of Forklift maintenance and safety checks
- The ability to multitask
- Outstanding time management and communication skills
- Full clean driving license
- RTITB counterbalance License
- Flexibility & self-motivation
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
