Gardener required!

This role will be predominantly cutting grass.

* Salary: £12.60 per hour
* Location: Exeter, EX2
* Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm
* Till November 2025 with the possibility of extension

PURPOSE OF JOB

To undertake cleansing and grounds maintenance services to keep the city looking
good.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

1. To be responsible within an identified area and as part of a team for:

* Grounds maintenance and vegetation management tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub bed maintenance including pruning, and weed spraying etc often using powered pedestrian and hand held equipment
* Graffiti removal using chemicals or powered equipment
* Mechanical sweeping
* General maintenance of sports pitches, tennis courts and other outdoor sports facilities
* As demand dictates, removing litter, emptying litter bins, removing small amounts of graffiti, trimming or removing weed growth and overhanging shrubs, cleaning public toilets etc.

Driver's licence is essential.
