Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm

The Working Environment

This role involves working across both warehouse and yard areas, supporting the movement, maintenance, and preparation of scaffolding equipment. It's ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in keeping things organised, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The Role

As a General Operative, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading scaffolding materials from vehicles
• Sorting and storing equipment in designated locations
• Inspecting returned products and identifying any defects or damage
• Cleaning and preparing materials for future hire
• Carrying out basic maintenance using hand and power tools
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
• Keeping work areas clean, safe, and well organised
• Following company health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider team with daily operational tasks

About You

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, construction, engineering, or industrial environment
• Confident using hand tools and power tools
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling duties
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Own transport is preferred due to site location

Desirable Skills

• Experience within a production or manufacturing operation
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Previous yard, warehouse, or engineering experience
• Experience carrying out equipment inspections or repairs
