Job Title: Entry-Level Graduate Geologist

📍 Location: Loch Kemp / Loch Ness

💷 Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour

📄 Contract: Temporary (4-5 month project)

🗓 Start Date: End of May

⏱ Hours: Full-time; rota to be confirmed

👥 Working closely alongside an experienced on-site Geologist

About the Role

We are recruiting an Entry-Level Graduate Geologist to join a major project based in the Loch Kemp/Loch Ness area. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent geology graduate seeking hands-on field experience, working directly with a highly experienced Geologist as part of a specialist project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting on-site geological investigations and data collection
• Assisting with sampling, logging, and documenting geological conditions
• Preparing and maintaining field equipment
• Working closely with the lead Geologist to carry out daily tasks
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting
• Adhering to all on-site health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (or related discipline)
• Strong interest in field geology and practical outdoor work
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work in remote outdoor environments
• Confident working as part of a small team
• Full training and direction provided on site
