HGV Class 1 Driver - Ongoing, Pre-Booked Work

Pay Rate: £18.02 per hour

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to support a well-established and high-performing operation in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent, pre-booked shifts, modern vehicles, and a structured rota designed to provide stability and work-life balance.

The Role

Trunking and store delivery work to UK-wide supermarket RDCs and retail locations
4 to 6 deliveries per shift
Cage work, including loading and unloading using roll cages
Use of modern fleet vehicles with telematics and route-planning systems
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time

Shift Pattern

Fixed rota across Monday to Sunday
Average shift length: 10-12 hours
Start times from 04:00
Pre-booked shifts offering consistency and forward planning

Requirements

Full UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Strong work ethic and reliability
Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
New passes considered, depending on experience and assessment
