Blue Arrow is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of XPO Logistics for a busy logistics operation based in Widnes, Cheshire (WA8).

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading transport and logistics providers, offering ongoing work, competitive pay rates and flexible shift patterns. We are particularly interested in drivers seeking afternoon, night and weekend shifts, with regular pre-booked work available.

Class 1 Driver Role Overview

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing store deliveries across the region, ensuring goods are delivered safely, professionally and on time.

The role typically involves an average of 2 to 3 deliveries per shift, providing a good balance of driving and customer-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing store deliveries in a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
• Delivering excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Pay Rates (PAYE)

Class 1 Days

• Monday to Friday: £17.56 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday: £20.37 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £21.47 per hour

Class 1 Nights

• Monday to Friday: £19.64 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday: £21.14 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £21.47 per hour

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 3 months' Class 1 driving experience
• A professional and safety-focused approach to work
