Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a growing and well-established operation based in South Tyneside (NE35).

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering beer kegs and alcohol products to local businesses across the region.

Duties Include:

• Multi-drop deliveries to pubs, restaurants and other licensed premises
• Delivering beer kegs and alcohol products safely and efficiently
• Handballing stock with the assistance of a driver's mate
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and complying with transport regulations
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

Vehicle Information

• 18 Tonne Curtain-Sider Vehicle
• Driver's Mate Provided
• Well-maintained fleet and equipment

Shift Information

• Monday to Friday only
• No weekend working
• Start times between 06:00 and 07:00
• Average shifts of 8 to 10 hours
• Ongoing, pre-booked work

Pay Rate

• £16.54 per hour
• Weekly pay

Driver Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Full UK Class C (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months' HGV driving experience
• Good knowledge of driver regulations and working time directives
• A positive and professional attitude
