House Keeping Assistant

Housekeeping Assistant - Goring-on-Thames Area

Location: Peaceful countryside setting near Goring-on-Thames
Salary: From £22,000 per annum
Transport: Own transport essential - no nearby public transport

We are recruiting for two Housekeeping Assistants to join a friendly and committed team in a well-maintained, tranquil environment near Goring-on-Thames. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoy working in a calm, structured setting.

Available Shifts

Position 1:
Tuesday to Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

Position 2:
Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard
• Make beds, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and well-presented
• Organise and maintain cleaning and linen stores
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
• Support the Housekeeping Manager and Deputy with day-to-day tasks

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with manual tasks and cleaning equipment
• Willing to undergo a DBS check
• Own transport due to rural location

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role (private or commercial)
• COSHH training or certification
• Knowledge of manual handling and general Health & Safety practices
