Human Resources Assistant
Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum
Location: Belfast City Centre
Working Pattern: Full-time, Hybrid
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high-quality HR support and administrative excellence within a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both the HR and Organisational Development Teams, ensuring the smooth operation of systems, processes, and services across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Human Resources Assistant, you will:
General HR & Administrative Support
- Provide high-quality routine administrative support across HR functions to ensure effective service delivery.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR administrative systems and processes.
- Oversee general office administration, ensuring a professional, efficient and responsive service to staff, customers, the public, and suppliers.
- Prepare reports, documentation and proposals for senior colleagues and offer advice where appropriate.
Training & Organisational Development
- Manage and maintain information on the training portal, including e-learning and face‑to‑face programme administration.
- Provide advice to managers, staff, and external customers on training and development queries.
- Coordinate the collection, storage, and analysis of training needs and monthly training data.
- Compile, update and prepare professional training packs.
- Support administration for Investors in People (IIP) and Organisational Working Groups (OWD).
Meetings & Coordination
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and papers, and ensure effective management of events and calendars.
- Attend meetings and take accurate notes or minutes as required.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to service improvement by participating in training, demonstrating teamwork, and embracing new processes or change initiatives.
- Provide excellent service to all stakeholders at all times.
- Undertake any other duties within the scope of the role.
