Are you an experienced cleaner looking for a role that can fit around your lifestyle? We are currently recruiting for Industrial Cleaners to join a busy food production environment. We can accommodate a range of working patterns, including days, back shifts, evenings, and weekends, with both full-time and part-time options available based Haddington.

We're happy to work around your availability, provided you can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

The Role

As an Industrial Cleaner, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the packhouse environment. This is a hands-on position involving deep cleaning of machinery, equipment, and production areas to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean machinery, equipment, and production areas to required hygiene standards
• Carry out deep cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces
• Use cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment safely and correctly
• Follow PPE requirements at all times
• Complete cleaning records and checklists accurately
• Maintain cleanliness in communal areas including toilets, canteens, and changing facilities
• Keep walkways, storage areas, and workspaces clean and free from waste
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning products and report shortages
• Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance issues
• Support general site cleaning, including external areas where required
• Comply with all health & safety and food hygiene regulations

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in industrial, commercial, or deep-cleaning environments is preferred
• Good understanding of cleaning practices, chemicals, and equipment
• Awareness of health & safety and PPE requirements
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
• Excellent attention to detail
• Access to transport is essential due to location
