Are you analytical, solution‑focused and confident supporting HR & Payroll systems? We're looking for an iTrent Support Analyst to join our applications support team, where excellent customer service, strong technical capability and a proactive mindset are key.
In this role, you'll support, maintain and enhance the iTrent HR & Payroll platform for a range of schools and multi‑academy trusts. You'll play an integral part in ensuring smooth system operation, assisting with upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and supporting new customer onboarding. * Managing day‑to‑day support cases, including system issues, configuration and development queries
* Working closely with the iTrent team to test, deploy and validate new system functionality
* Preparing data, loading information and completing unit testing to meet customer requirements
* Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of customers, ensuring statutory system‑related obligations are met
* Providing expert knowledge and suggestions to improve processes and contribute to future system roadmaps
* Supporting the operational lifecycle of the iTrent platform, including upgrades, patches and maintenance
* Working with project managers and project leads to deliver IT projects within agreed specifications and timelines
* Handling incidents and problems proactively in line with IT Service Management policies
* Producing accurate system reports and documentation
* Ensuring all work aligns with GDPR, data protection and relevant compliance standards
* A structured Monday-Friday working pattern

* Essential: experience maintaining the MHR iTrent platform
* Strong understanding of HR processes and systems
* Experience supporting customer onboarding and offboarding
* Proven experience in a fast‑paced environment with excellent customer service skills
* Strong communication skills and comfort working with multiple stakeholders
* Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles
* Desirable: knowledge of the education sector
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Strong problem‑solving capability with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously
* Confident producing reports and working with system data
* Positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach
* Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills
* Able to work collaboratively or independently
* Proactive, with a willingness to challenge discrepancies and support continuous improvement
