Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Location: Bristol

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 4:00pm

Salary: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive nursery team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare professional who is passionate about supporting young children's development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Working as part of a committed team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, ensuring every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding care and learning opportunities for children aged 0-5 years.
• Support children's emotional, social, physical, and educational development.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
• Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive, reliable, and professional approach to work.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
