Logistics Manager

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a full-time permanent Logistics Manager to join a well-established food production company based in Bellshill.

Salary - £35,000 + depending on experience

Shifts - Monday - Friday 7am - 3.3pm

The Role

You'll manage the end‑to‑end despatch function, ensuring products are delivered on time, in full, and fully compliant with food safety and quality standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the despatch team and daily operations
• Oversee order picking, loading, and transport scheduling
• Manage hauliers and customer delivery systems
• Maintain accurate stock control and traceability
• Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Drive OTIF performance and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Experience in logistics/despatch or warehouse management
• FMCG or food environment experience preferred
• Strong stock control and WMS experience
• Proven people management skills
• Good IT skills, including Excel

Desirable:

• FLT licence
• Knowledge of BRC and HACCP
