🕒 Part-Time, Flexible (2 Days Per Week, 8:00am to 4:00pm)

We're currently recruiting for a Maintenance Support professional to join a well-established care home in Reading. This flexible role allows you to choose any two days per week, working 8:00am to 4:00pm, making it ideal for someone seeking a better work-life balance while utilising their maintenance skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the home
Complete routine building, equipment, and safety checks
Support the upkeep of grounds and external areas
Assist with health & safety and compliance requirements
Maintain records of inspections, checks, and repairs
Liaise with contractors where required
Undertake occasional courier or collection duties
Ensure the home remains safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents and staff

Requirements:

Valid Enhanced Adult DBS is essential
Previous maintenance, handyman, caretaker, or facilities experience preferred
Good practical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Reliable and professional approach
Full UK driving licence desirable
