As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with production, engineering, quality, and operational teams, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, introduce innovative manufacturing solutions, and help organisations remain competitive in fast-changing markets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity
  • Develop and implement robust production methods and engineering solutions
  • Support the introduction of new products from design through to full-scale production
  • Identify and eliminate waste through Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Investigate production issues and implement effective corrective and preventative actions
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve manufacturing and process-related challenges
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Design, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
  • Support capacity planning, workflow optimisation, and production readiness activities
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards
  • Monitor production performance and recommend data-driven improvements

Skills & Experience

We're interested in professionals who can demonstrate experience in some of the following areas:

  • Manufacturing Engineering experience within industrial, engineering, or production environments
  • Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Continuous Improvement techniques
  • Process development, optimisation, and production support
  • Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving methodologies
  • Experience working within engineering and manufacturing environments
  • Understanding of quality improvement processes and manufacturing best practices
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) and production launch experience
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and operational compliance requirements
  • Ability to analyse manufacturing data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills
