We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our FM team at HMP Fosse Way, a Category C resettlement prison in Leicester with the capacity to house around 1,700 prisoners.
You will carry out routine HVAC, Mechanical and some electrical Engineering work, preventative maintenance, and repairs alongside assisting in multi trade support of other members of the FM service team.

What you'll need to do the job
First and foremost, the successful post holder must hold a HVAC/Mechanical (C&G, NVQ) and have knowledge and experience of underfloor heating - electrical qualification desirable.
You will be confident prioritising workloads, flexible and proactive, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement to working approach.
Finally, flexibility is a must - you will be a team member of the Facilities "Out of hours" call out roster and flexible working will be required to cover work as part of a team.
