Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Indurent Park, Pride Park, Derby
Pay Rate: £21.81 - £26.21 per hour

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based at Indurent Park, Pride Park, Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment, working with advanced manufacturing equipment and supporting the ongoing performance of the site through planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Shift Pattern
Rotating Shifts
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30 / 14:30 - 23:00
- Friday: 06:00 - 12:00 / 12:00 - 18:00
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
- Support production teams by responding to equipment breakdowns efficiently.
- Maintain and service automated presses, conveyors, robotic systems and associated machinery.
- Complete maintenance records accurately using maintenance management systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Flexible approach with the ability to work rotating shifts.
- Relevant engineering qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent.
Desirable Experience
- PLC fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Experience working with robotic and automated equipment.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems.
- Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience.
