London Cycle hire have an exciting opportunity available, as we are looking to recruit for Night on Street Operatives to join the team.
This role will report to the Night Control Room Operative. The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance on bicycles and e-Bikes, including basic functional checks. Primarily their focus will be to replace e-Bike batteries according to customer demand and ensure exceptional customer service across the London Cycle Hire scheme.
The Night on Street Operative role is essential due to the increasing e-Bike fleet, which has led to higher customer demand. This role ensures that customer needs are met efficiently, even during periods of reduced resources. By maintaining and servicing the e-Bikes and bicycles, the operative helps to meet client KPIs, ensuring the London Cycle Hire scheme continues to deliver exceptional service and reliability.

What do I need to do the role?
The ideal candidate will also possess a Full UK Driving License (Category B) held for a minimum of one year.
You should have a basic knowledge of bicycle maintenance and experience driving or riding in London. Additionally, they should have experience working with a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).
