Nursery Manager

Blue Arrow are looking for a nursery manager in Birmingham

Requirements:

- Experience working within a nursery

- Preferred management experience

- Enhanced DBS

- Work Monday to Friday

Nursery manager:

Responsibilities: Leading the nursery team, managing budgets, and achieving KPIs.
Requirements: At least 2 years of senior leadership experience, strong knowledge of EYFS and early years pedagogy, and excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in early years education.
* Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Oversee the health, safety, and well being of all children in the nursery, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the nursery operates efficiently.
* Conduct regular assessments of children's development and maintain accurate records to track progress.
* Organise events and activities that involve parents and the local community to enhance engagement.

A recognised qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 3 or above).

Able to work well in a team - Can support others around you to ensure tasks are completed
Can work well individually
Able to follow instructions
Previous experience within cleaning and/or working within a hospital setting
Must be reliable
