Packing Operative

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Packing Operative for our client based in Hartlepool

Pay Rates:

· £14.55ph - £15.36ph depending on shift (+ holiday pay earned as you work)

· Overtime for weekends

Shifts:

· Mon-Fri - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

· Sun-Thurs - 10pm-6am

· Full time only

· Weekly rotations

The role will include working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where hand eye co-ordination is essential to maintain speed and accuracy off the production line. You will also ensure products are packed, checked, and prepared to the highest quality and food safety standards

The ideal candidate will have a background within food production, though manufacturing experience from other industries will be considered

Duties:

· Pack food products accurately and efficiently in line with production targets and company quality standards

· Operate production and packaging machinery safely, carrying out basic checks and reporting any faults or issues

· Conduct quality inspections on products and packaging to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and customer requirements

· Perform highly dexterous and repetitive tasks requiring excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail when handling and packing products

· Complete manual handling duties, including lifting, moving, and stacking products and materials, while maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
