Job Title: Painter / General Operative

Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:30
Job Purpose
To assist with painting and general maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are prepared and finished to a high standard. The role also includes supporting warehouse operations and performing general duties to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Painting: Prepare surfaces, apply paint, and ensure a clean, professional finish on equipment and materials.
- Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs and upkeep of warehouse equipment and structures.
- General Duties: Assist with cleaning, organising, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Loading and Unloading: Support with manual handling of materials when required.
- Health & Safety: Follow all company health and safety procedures, including wearing PPE and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Teamwork: Work closely with other operatives and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in painting or general maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- own transport is required due to area
