Pickers & Packers

Pickers & Packers required for a busy distribution warehouse.

📍 Location: Castle Donington - with good public transport links on the East Midlands Gateway industrial estate.

💰 Pay Rate: £14.66 per hour

🕒 Shifts: Rotating shifts - 6:00am to 2:00pm/2:00pm to 10:00pm
(Monday to Friday - full flexibility required)

Contract: Ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Job Overview
Blue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced pickers & packers to join a leading business in the Castle Donington area.

Key Responsibilities
* Picking and packing a range of items
* Moving boxes onto conveyor belts (some lifting involved - up to 15kg)
* Booking stock in and out using hand held scanners and internal systems
* Building cardboard boxes and preparing packaging
* General warehouse duties as required

Requirements
We're looking for individuals who:
* Can work well as part of a team
* Are physically capable of manual handling
* Have experience working with scanners for order picking
* Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Communicate clearly and confidently
* Have basic English and maths skills
* Are committed to following health and safety protocols
* Can provide and wear appropriate PPE (hi-vis vest and safety boots)
