Blue Arrow is Recruiting for a Planning and Logistics coordinator on a temp to perm basis for immediate start for a well-established food and beverage company based in Bellshill!
Location: Bellshill
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Times: 9am - 5pm
Pay: £16.62
Contract - Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily planning schedules to meet operational and customer requirements
- Oversee logistics and transport arrangements, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and liaise with procurement to maintain optimal inventory
- Work closely with internal teams (production, sales, warehouse) to align priorities
- Track and report on key KPIs, identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Resolve any delivery or supply chain issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to planning and logistics activities
- General Administrative duties
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a planning, logistics, or supply chain role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and planning/logistics systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
Desirable
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG environments
- Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
- Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics coordination
