Qualifications | All: · Full current driving licence · 7.5 tonne driver licence (or prepared to undertake and pass within 6 month period) |
Knowledge | · Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace · Practical knowledge of City street map · Knowledge of vehicle operating licence requirements |
Experience | - Experience in working outdoors in all weathers - Experienced in working on own initiative and on the spot decision making including dynamic risk assessments. - Previous experience operating plant and cleansing vehicles |
Aptitude & Skills | · Interpret and action instructions · Ability to deliver work to agreed quality · Ability to communicate professionally at all levels. · Ability to carry out written work associated with the task, including filling in vehicle defect books and work allocation logs. · To conduct yourself in a professional manner when at work in a public environment as an ambassador to the council |
