🚐 Van Drivers with Walking Duties - Royal Mail

📍 Location: Lerwick, Shetland

💰 Pay Rate: £16.58 per hour

🕒 Contract Duration: Until 24th December 2025

Royal Mail is seeking reliable and motivated Van Drivers to support our delivery operations during the busy festive season. This role involves both driving and walking duties to ensure timely and secure delivery of parcels and letters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a Royal Mail van to designated delivery areas
• Deliver mail and parcels on foot as part of your route
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and securely

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Good physical fitness for walking duties
• Strong time management and reliability

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate of £16.58
• Temporary contract until 24th December 2025
• Shifts between Monday-Saturday. 10:00-18:00 which can be flexible (Over 5 days)
