Printing Operative

Location: Nottinghamshire

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Printing Operative to join a busy production team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in printing, manufacturing, or production who is looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring printing and finishing equipment
• Setting up machinery and preparing materials for production runs
• Loading paper, card, and other substrates into machinery
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
• Identifying and reporting equipment faults or production issues
• Supporting finishing processes including folding, binding, trimming, and packing
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working to production schedules and deadlines
• Following all health and safety procedures

About You

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous experience within printing, manufacturing, or production
• Experience operating machinery
• Knowledge of print finishing processes
• Understanding of quality control procedures
