HMP Fosse Way is a Category C rehabilitation prison in Leicestershire. HMP Fosse Way will house 1,715 prisoners and focus on the rehabilitation of offenders and their reintegration back into society.

The Prison is open all year round, 24/7 and whilst you'll need to be flexible to cover various shift patterns, we do operate on a rota basis (a years in advance) that allows you the flexibility to enjoy meaningful time off to do the things you love.
What you will need to do the role:
Our current Operational Support staff come to us with different work & life experiences, from retail to healthcare, to call centres and taxi drivers; others are ex-military, police, and security services personnel!
What you've done before doesn't matter, what matters is that you're committed to making a difference to the lives of others. You should have great communications skills and a good educational level in English and Maths as report writing, and numerical abilities are a key part of the role. The rest you will learn during your and through our experienced colleagues.
