Production Operative

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting Production Operatives for our client in the Blairgowrie area.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Contract: Temporary, starting 9th or 16th June for 4 months' work (approx.)

Pay: £12.80 per hour

Location: Blairgowrie area

**Due to location, driver's license and access to a vehicle is desirable. Otherwise, a lift from Blairgowrie can be arranged for the right candidates**

Duties will include…

Assemble and make up cardboard boxes for packaging products.
Stack pallets safely and efficiently, following workplace safety guidelines.
Perform regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required.
Support other departments with general duties, including cleaning, sorting, or assisting in production lines.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have…

Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred (for example working on a production/ packing line or as a fruit picker)
Previous experience working on a production line.
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexible and willing to support various departments as needed.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
Willingness to work shifts or flexible hours if required.
Ideally a driver's license and access to vehicle.
