Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our clients manufacturing team based in the Baglan area.
Rate of pay: £12.71ph / £24,784.50p.a
Hours of work: Full time 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm shifts
Contract: Permanent
Main Responsibilities:
- Applying efficient labelling, filling, boxing, and palletising of bottled products, ensuring all items are prepared correctly and safely for transport
- Collating and assembling products into packaging, and managing stock levels
- Once trained, you will be expected to set up and use job-specific equipment, including pneumatic capping and filling machines
- Working alongside the supervisor, you will start maintaining records, replenishing stock and planning future requirements based on orders, schedules and forecasts
- Adhere to all health and safety aspects & correct any health and safety issues you identify and inform the managing director of them
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work well in a team
- Flexible and willing to take on different tasks as needed
- Able to use you own initiative to solve issues and improve processes
- This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment
