Location: Derby, DE23 (close to the city centre)
Shifts: Days OR Afternoons set shifts, (being open to both is a big advantage)
Contract: Temp to perm opportunities available for the right person

We are recruiting Production Operatives who enjoy hands on work, using tools, machinery and helping to build high quality products. If you like assembling, shaping, packing and inspecting, you will feel right at home in this team.

Here is a snapshot of the work involved in this role.
* Vacuum forming materials into the correct shapes and sizes
* Picking and packing finished products
* Assembling industrial filters with accuracy
* Operating and monitoring production machinery
* Cleaning your workstation to maintain a safe and tidy area
* Completing visual quality checks
* Supporting the end to end production of finished products
* Using hand tools throughout your shift
This is an active role where you will be on your feet and using your hands for most of the shift.
You will be a great fit if you:
* Have at least 3 years experience in production or manufacturing
* Are confident using hand tools and machinery
* Can read and understand technical drawings
* Have strong English and numeracy skills
* Enjoy working as part of a team
* Are reliable, hardworking and safety aware
* Can carry out manual handling tasks
* Have strong attention to detail
* Are flexible and open to learning new areas
Training is provided, but previous hands on experience is essential.
