Location: Derby, DE23

Pay Rate: £13.62 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:00am (4-day working week)

Please note: An initial training period will take place on day shifts for several weeks before moving onto the permanent afternoon shift pattern.

Contract: Temporary Ongoing

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for experienced Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based close to Derby City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a globally recognised company that has been operating successfully for over 130 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Vacuum forming products to required specifications
• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Assembling industrial filter products with precision and attention to detail
• Picking, packing, and preparing products for dispatch
• Carrying out visual and quality inspections
• Supporting the production process to ensure targets are achieved
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience using hand tools and production machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Ability to perform manual handling duties
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Team player who can work effectively with colleagues
• Commitment to wearing PPE and following health and safety guidelines
