Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Raw Materials Warehouse FLT Operator join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly!
Rate of Pay: £13.08ph
Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday: 07:00-15:00pm
Contract: Temp to perm after 12 weeks
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate FLT / 8-tonne Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation
- Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation
- Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
- Independent working with some teamworking
- Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork
- Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork
- Run quality check of all incoming goods
- Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay
- Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
- Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
- Carry out periodic stocktaking activities
- Guarantee the warehouse space optimization
- Transport parent reels from paper mill production area to warehouse if required
Skills required:
- RTITB FLT (Counterbalance) is desirable but in-house is accepted
- Experience in warehouse environment operating a Forklift Truck
- Experience using clamp and bale attachments (desirable)
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and safe working practices.
- Good communication skills
- Works well in a team and individually
